We formed this program to help those with chronic illness. We have seen such a need for hope. For guidance for the newly diagnosed, for patients to have a safe, hopeful place. We have also seen those with chronic illness struggle with body positivity, self worth. Feelings of hopelessness.
Our Mission:
We strive to be there to encourage you to embrace you, to flourish. To help you find hope through providing resources for body positivity, online and in person support groups. We’re offering online forums centered around hope, positivity and achieving goals. We will also offer in person and virtual events.
A Word from Ambre:
This project holds special meaning to me. It has become my main motivation for this program and my advocacy. I’ve created this section to showcase various photography projects I’ve worked on. Whether they were for awareness, self confidence, or simply to empower and encourage others. I’m also personally working on #RedefiningBeauty, and also #ImperfectlyBeautiful. Showing the person, not the diagnosis. Showing your beauty. It does not matter whether you have a medical device, ie: ostomy, enteral tube, port, picc; These do not take away your worth. They do not take away your beauty. My goal is to encourage you, to empower you to see beyond them, to see your worth, to see your beauty. I am working to launch a national campaign regarding this. If any photographer or spoonie would like to work with me on this, or submit their photos to be added to this page and campaign, please reach out to me.
